Come and Gone

St. Patrick's Day was one of Ayden's first holiday last year. It is hard to believe that all of those firsts have come and gone. I am excited, though, because I think going all out for a holiday is pretty fun. Each passing year will bring with it even more fun an excitement as Ayden becomes more aware of everything that comes along with them.

He's such a little boy now!
When did this happen???

The weather person predicted the weather right for a change today and it was chilly and rainy all day long. My aunt was in town for a visit and we enjoyed her company very much. Most of the day was spent playing with Ayden and accomplishing a few things from our to do list but the rain definitely brought some laziness along with it.

We stopped by David's parents' house for Ayden's St. Patrick's Day gift and came home for dinner and more playing. Ayden had a pretty fussy afternoon and had BOTH hands in his mouth all day. I think we'll all be happier when his molars make their way through as it seems like such a long, drawn out process compared to all of his other teeth. He is wearing his teething necklace and we are giving him Camilla; which is a homeopathic teething remedy that seems to work pretty well.

I have some big plans for this week and I am eager to see if I can accomplish all that I have in mind. I believe that if something is important, I'll find a way to make it happen so we will see!

  1. Good luck with your to do list. I'm also going into the week with big plans and hope the time crunch will keep me motivated. Baby no two will be delivered via c-section next weekend (hospital availability permitting) and I may start my daily blogs. I wish I had done it with my first as you did!
