As for the first cardio workout, it was intense and went by quickly. It's fast paced (no breaks) and keeps you on your toes (sometimes literally!). My booty is already sore which is awesome and I broke a good sweat. David and I enjoyed the extra time together in the morning and even Ayden waking a little early worked out well because he took his nap earlier and therefore was asleep before 8:00 which is what we like.
At dinner, I asked David, "Should we go swimming or do you just want to veg for the night?" Because he was pretty tired all day too. Before David could answer, Ayden says, "Ummm, ummm, da pool!" It was so funny! We forget sometimes that everyday he becomes more and more an active member of our family and household. He started talking about splashing and the beach ball, as well as wanting to see his Naunie and Papow (in his own toddler way of speaking, of course). We couldn't say no to all of that on top of his excitement about recalling all of the fun we have swimming so that is how we spent the rest of Ayden's evening. Now Ayden is in bed, David has done the dishes and it is time for us to unplug and have our weekly at home date night.
Today, Ayden gave us a nice break from toddler meltdowns and we all just enjoyed each other. Life is good.
Have you started a new work out plan recently? Are you on the Focus T25 bandwagon? Do share!
