Ayden still had a fever all day today, but we were able to manage it with medicine. His appetite continued to stay normal and he was in the mood to play! His current favorite "toy" is my old discman and all of my music CDs from school. Humpty Dumpty, or "Hunty Dunty" as he calls it, seems to be his favorite tune at the moment.
He has really enjoyed the freedom he has had with the discman. We have always taught him to have respect for his books and toys so he's never been rough with it. We showed him how to switch the CDs in and out, how to work the volume and the power on the speaker. Then we set him free.
He also spends a lot of time in the little music nook in his playroom. He has the keyboard that he got for his first Christmas, a drum, the harmonica and guitar he got this past Christmas. He usually plays the demos on his keyboards, puts on the boots (he calls them his dance shoes) you see in the bottom right corner of the picture and cuts a pretty mean rug.
We've been known to have some pretty rockin' family dance parties when DJ Ayden is in the house!
