Big Time Walker!

We had a rainy pajama day today. We didn't leave the house and as a result everything is back in its place after a whirlwind of a weekend. Next step is to decorate!

Ayden has made a lot of walking progress!  Here is a clip from this morning:

He's also made some sign language progress. He still only has "all done" and "more" but he seems to understand the difference now and has generalized more to reading books. He'll sign more when he wants to read a book again. We've also introduced the sign for "help" since he has started screaming with frustration when he can't do something (like open a door or reach something). He watches so intently so I know he's processing it! We are just so proud of all of these recent accomplishments. It'll be crazy to experience parental pride after big, serious adult accomplishments if we feel this way now.

My little boy and I had a great day together playing, hanging out (sometimes literally for Ayden since he rode on my back in the Ergo while I did the house work) and snuggling on this rainy day. I'm putting Ayden down for his afternoon nap right now and David just texted to say he's almost home. Can't wait to see him!

What do you do on rainy days? I tend to stay in and wear pajamas all day. Rain is a good enough excuse for that, right? :)
