The toilet paper has been "rerolled" |
The toilet scrubbers and other "fun toys" are high out of reach. |
The house is booby trapped. (It's like walking on broken glass!) |

This is totally our house! I totally relate. Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteHaha, so glad we're not alone!
DeleteI have two boys......legos and matchbox cars abound. I feel your pain..literally. And if you have a daughter, this dame thing will happen.in the bathroom. ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha, sounds like your house is booby trapped to the MAX! It would be so interesting to see similarities and differences between boys and girls.
DeleteWe have cabinet locks on EVERYTHING, including the TV stand. And I still never remember them, so when I go to open a cabinet it never fails I rip it open and it slams back shut on me.
ReplyDeleteWe also have re-rolled toilet paper.
So funny! We had a few cabinet locks at our old house and got tricked by them all the time! I took the opportunity to put anything he shouldn't have up or behind closed doors (linen closet, laundry room and such) so we didn't have to put those darn cabinet locks on! Haha. I'm pretty sure I re-roll the toilet paper at least once a day. Now he's even learned how to flush the toilet so we are really in trouble!
DeleteSarah...you know you can buy latches for the toilet seat as well, right?
DeleteYes! We need to get some. We had one on our toilet at my parent's house and it worked very well. Thanks for reminding me :)
DeleteUntil just last week, our kitchen was "baby proofed" with a huge Rubbermaid container and the Jumperoo... Not attractive! Plus my 14 month old started so push those obstacles around and get into the cupboards and garbage. We FINALLY installed the baby gate that blocks off the entire kitchen and it's a whole new room. We finally caught up on the kitchen cleaning that we couldn't keep up with while he ran around the room. We have a tiny apartment and it is so apparent between the two baby gates and the doors closed to toddlers. We can see him at all times now!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that sounds great! Ayden is getting better with "helping" on his learning tower but our dog is the worst at hovering underfoot while we are cooking. It'd be awesome to keep him out!
