David and Ayden went to story time this morning and I got some quiet time with our newest little man.
David said that Ayden was so proud to tell the librarians and other folks at story time all about his little brother.
He's just a little proud. |
This afternoon Mama decided she needed to get out for some fresh air. We went for a walk up the driveway and back. It was just the ticket:
Happy to have a little papoose again! |
I took some time to look at our birth photos while David and Ayden were gone this morning. I put together a little slideshow of some of our favorites. I'm still processing the experience and am not sure I am ready to put all of my feelings and emotions into words quite yet. Since a picture says a thousand words, until I can write a birth story, I'll leave you with this:
The most difficult yet most magical thing I've ever experienced. |
As well as the slide show. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new arrival :) I know you have mentioned before that you were a little anxious before Logan's arrival because of all the bluesy feelings that can come with childbirth in the first weeks. I too struggled with that with my first and so when you are ready I would love to hear how you think that part compares as well
ReplyDeleteI was wondering where you had gone from YouTube so came here to see what you were up to. Congrats on the baby! Any chance you will be getting back to YouTube?
