5 Happy Things: Heart Melting Cuteness

1) Ayden's 2 new words today were mine and yes. Most folks see a toddler learning "Mine" as a negative. I see it as him coming into his own and taking ownership in his life. This is not a bad thing, we just have to guide him to learn just how much he really can "own."

2) He is a happy boy when he has his very own equipment so he can do exactly what we are doing.

Then he went out and detailed his car.  Haha!
3) He sits and "reads" out loud to himself several times a day now and we love it SOO much!

4) We went to a play date today and it was a lot of fun.

5) I went in to get Ayden when he woke up from his nap. He said, "Hi mama" kissed me on the cheek "Mmm-MA!", snuggled in and went back to sleep.

This boy melts our hearts everyday and it is the most amazing thing we have ever experienced. I just love spending my days with him. Sometimes it is hard to wrap my head around the fact that he will continue to melt our hearts for the rest of our lives...  Wow.

  1. Love reading about the sweetness that pours out of your little boy!

I have two sons, so I'll combine 5 happy things they have been doing lately:

    1. My two year old giving my 5 month old horsey rides. They both laugh hysterically.

    2. My 5 month old trying with all his might to crawl then crying "maaaa, maaaa!" When he's tuckered out.

    3. My two year old, while out on a family walk, saying, "I love you, mama. I love you, daddy."

    4. Waking up to the sound of my boys talking to each other on the monitor. My two year old got out of bed and took his race cars over to his brother's crib and was showing them to him through the slats.

    5. The way my 2 year old shrieked with glee when I told him that he could ride a real tractor at the pumpkin patch next month. He's going to love it!

  3. I know u probably wont have time to respond to this, as i am busy myself, but i am wanting to start my baby on solids at 6 months. I am a paleo lover myself and all i see is rice cereal. Any suggestions. Is it okay to give them mashed veggies iyo. By the way, i can never comment on your youtube videos, but i would like to see a clip on the improvements of your husbans autoimmune problem. Did paleo help him. My nephew has same condition.
