Early To Bed

Mondays are pretty busy for us. We have play group from 10-12ish, then we have lunch and nap. As soon as Ayden is up from his nap we head to my family dance studio to put in a couple of hours of office work (usually 2:30-4:30). After we leave there we usually swing by the grocery store for a few small items, get home, make dinner then it's time for our nightly routine.

For some reason, David and I were both feeling run down this evening. We got Ayden to bed at his usual time of 7:30 then we usually stay up until 10 or 10:30 doing whatever our hearts desire. Tonight, however, we are going to cuddle up together, veg out watching an episode of Arrow on Netflix. Then we are going to bed early!

I read something once that said, "If you're tired, sleep."  Seems like a no brainer but most of the people I know, ourselves included, just power through exhaustion (usually with the help of caffeine) day in and day out. Tonight, we are going to listen to our bodies and give them what they actually need!
