My Man

My man is amazing. From wooing me with poetry in high school to surprising me with an original song for our first dance at our wedding, to respecting and supporting my dream to stay home with our children, to now building our family a home with his bare hands (just to name a few milestones...).

Today's progress!

David has his work cut out for him with me. Four of the five love languages are all practically tied for first place for me and to be perfectly honest, all four tanks feel full most of the time. 

Things weren't always this sweet, but over the past almost 14 years that we have been together he has worked to get to know ME. I feel heard, respected, desired and oh so loved by this man and I do not take any of that for granted. 

We have had rough patches and we still have our moments but we are in sync now more than ever before. Our little family is truly blessed to have him in all of our lives and I believe the world is such a better place with him in it. 

Quite the lucky little son.
