5 Happy Things: Jam Sessions

We are still waiting on Baby Logan's arrival!  I am 40 weeks and 4 days today.  I've had some signs of things moving in the right direction (as they should be by now...) but nothing too crazy to report.  David was sore and tired from the long day he put in at the house yesterday so he decided to take today off.  The heat wave broke and we had an amazingly humid-free, mild day today.  It inspired me to write about 5 happy things because it was truly a happy day.

1. Happy, healthy hens who give us fresh, delicious, healthy eggs.
Bright yellow yolks, strong shells and VERY strong membranes.

2. Learning new skills.
I learned how to make button holes on my sewing machine today!
This was obviously a practice hole on scrap fabric.
(I'm still working on our niece's doll carrier birthday present.  Almost done!)

3. Family time.

We went to the park to play,

and went on a long Logan, encouraging walk.

4. Quality father/son time.
I LOVE seeing my boys together.

5. Extra reasons to celebrate those we love.
