Three's Company

Spring has definitely sprung over here!

We had a big day today. As I discussed in one of my first posts on this blog, I quit my job as a teacher to stay home with this little guy.

I have always wanted to be a stay at home mom and am so lucky to have a hubby who shares my views and supports my dreams. When school let out last year, I took up a job with one of my old college employers (I worked at her pet store before I got into early childhood education). I helped organize spaces and files for her business and in her home for the first part of the summer and nannied her toddler, we'll call her "Little Miss," for the remainder of the summer and up until 2 weeks before my due date.

After looking at our finances, David and I decided it would be very helpful for me to continue watching her. Since we've settled in pretty well, I started watching her again today. She comes to our house and her mom even got us a double stroller so we could still get out and about.

Ayden is still a little small for it but it does fit his car seat for any crazy shenanigans we might get into...
I used a blanket and his muskrat friends to make him comfy for this ride.

We are starting with 2 days a week but will ultimately work back up to 3. She is such a sweetie and will make things even more exciting around here. I've heard that around 3 or 4 months babies really start to enjoy watching other kids so that will be fun. Hopefully he likes older women ;)!
